Under: Audi A4 B6 Cabriolet | Viewed: 6947 Add comment

So, we had the car for a few weeks now and we're very happy with the drive and the gas mileage so far.

309 miles - 12.70 gallons = 24.33MPG - 6-5-11

Audi Cabriolet First Week Impressions

Under: Audi A4 B6 Cabriolet | Viewed: 7397 Add comment

It's been a week since we got our 04 Audi Cabriolet, my wife misses the comfort and stability of the A8 while driving the cabriolet. It's obvious that 2 cars are totally different, in both sizes and build. We both like to drive the cabriolet, it's nimble, quiet, solid, comfortable and very easy to drive because of its size. The car feels heavy and stable for a small car. Wind...

Audi Homelink Transmitter Programming

Under: Audi A4 B6 Cabriolet | Viewed: 6821 Add comment

These days newer cars have built in universal remote which is very convenient and COOL Cool. Our new (used) 2004 Cabriolet does come with one and I had to try to program it for our garage door. The new garage door unit these days have security feature built-in called rolling codes (Genie) and it needs to be paired up with each new remote. The programming on the Audi has been...

Audi Seat Memories And Key Fobs

Under: Audi A8 D2 | Viewed: 6053 Add comment

We owned Audis that have remote key fobs and driver memory seat, it's great for family members to drive the car without having re-adjusting the seat everytime we use the same car. The driver seat can have up to 4 memory positions, which means we can also have 4 key fobs with different positions if we need to. Our kids are little, so we only have 2 drivers: me and...

2004 A4 Cabriolet 3.0 CVT

Under: Audi A4 B6 Cabriolet | Viewed: 4869 Add comment

I've been looking for a convertible for over a year now. I used to have Lancia Scorpion, Fiat Spider, Alfa Romeo Spider and I loved them, especially living in sunny CA. I had to sell my 1991 Alfa Romeo when my daughter's born and I told myself that I'll get another one when time and financial situations permit. It is now, the only thing is that we need a 4...

It's Time To Say Goodbye To Our A8 After 7 Wonderful Years

Under: Audi A8 D2 | Viewed: 4975 Add comment

We would never think of a day that we would replace our wonderful A8 for a smaller A4. But it's going to be a cabriolet, since the summer is coming and the sun should be bright and warm in Northern CA, nothing better than driving the family in a 4 seater convertible, especially 4-Rings one. The kids love the test drive and the color. Anyhow, last night I took some...

Replace A6 C5 Control Arms

Under: Audi A6 C5 | Viewed: 4287 Add comment

My father's been driving my old 98 A6 for 8 years now, it's 13 years old and he claims that the car is bouncy and wobble when driving over bumps and uneven roads. He is thinking about the shocks, but the tires do wear out evenly, I suspect the control arms are at fault. Anyhow, he lives about 500 miles away, so I can't just come over and inspect the...

A8 32V Home Made Crank Pulley Lock

Under: Audi A8 D2 | Viewed: 7120 Add comment

To remove 32V engine crank bolt, we need a pulley locking tool which is sold for about $100 on the net. I made one myself just to use for a few times. Cost about $15.00. The cut for the stars should fit snug and not loose, so don't cut them too wide. Everything was bought in Lowes.
